Bleach resistant salon towels & washcloths

Bleach Shield® towels are VAT dyed. Unlike the reactive dyeing used on regular colored towels, VAT dyeing locks the color into the cotton fiber, so our bleach proof salon towels, hand towels and washcloths keep their color through bleach, hair color, peroxide and hot-water washes.

Three sizes: 16x28 bleach resistant hand towels (the heaviest, 3.4 lb per dozen), 16x26 salon towels (2.8 lb per dozen) and 13x13 bleach resistant washcloths (1.5 lb per dozen). All are 100% cotton terry, sold by the dozen.

Eight salon colors: black, charcoal, navy, purple, hunter green, burgundy, wine and dark brown. Black salon towels are the best seller because they hide hair color; every color in the range is bleach resistant.

Yes. Every Bleach Shield® towel and washcloth is 100% ring-spun cotton terry. Cotton stays absorbent and soft through hundreds of hot washes, which is why salons prefer it over microfiber for hair and color work.

Bleach Shield® towels are sold by the dozen, with a minimum of one dozen per color. There are no multicolor packs, but you can mix as many colors as you like in one order and quantity discounts apply across the order.

Yes. Request a sample and we will send one for a nominal fee (from $10, which covers shipping). It is the easiest way to check the weight, color and softness of Bleach Shield® towels before a large order.

Report any concern within 48 hours of delivery. Unused towels can be returned within 14 days of purchase with a 15% restocking fee; return shipping is paid by the customer. The full policy is on our refund policy page.

Wash Bleach Shield® towels in hot water, or with bleach and cold water. Skip fabric softener (it coats the cotton and reduces absorbency) and tumble dry on medium. The VAT-dyed color holds through daily salon laundry.

Like all 100% cotton terry, they tighten slightly after the first wash, which is why they are cut generously. Wash and dry them once before the first use to fluff the loops and remove lint.
